The native of Hayward, California made his professional debut with the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League in 2025, appearing in 36 games. He was 3-0 with a 3.77 earned run average while also earning two saves. He transferred to California State University, East Bay (Hayward, California) for the 2023 season after one season at Shorter University (Rome, Georgia). In 37 appearances (one start) over two college seasons, Colyer posted a 4-1 record with a 3.73 ERA. WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced Wednesday the signing of right-handed pitcher Noah Millikan. Millikan made his professional debut in 2025 with the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League, where he started 14 contests. He compiled an impressive 7-1 record in what is considered a hitter-friendly circuit. He finished third-best in the league with a 2.12 earned run average, while also ranking seventh in strikeouts with 96, despite starting just 14 games. The 22-year-old played his college career with the University of Pennsylvania, while also spending three seasons playing in the California and New York collegiate summer leagues. In his four years at Penn, Millikan appeared in 29 games, starting 14. In summer collegiate action, he appeared in 23 games, starting six. He compiled a 3-3 record with a 4.47 ERA. “We’re thrilled to have Noah as our first signing for the 2026 season,” said manager Logan Watkins. “He’s coming off a great year with Oakland and has proven he’s ready to make the jump to the American Association. WINNIPEG, MB – Baseball Canada named their roster for the upcoming WBSC Copa América Tuesday. The tournament will take place from November 13-17 in La Chorrera, Panama. The Copa América consists of 12 nations across two groups. Canada will play in Group B with host Panama, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina, seeking to become one of the four nations to earn a berth in the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The announced roster consists of several players from the 2025 Goldeyes’ squad. Relief pitcher and Winnipeg native Ben Onyshko along with starting pitcher Landen Bourassa headline the recent members of the team on the Canadian pitching staff, while first baseman Matthew Warkentin and outfielder Jacob Robson represent the team in the field and at the plate. The roster also features the likes of four players who suited up for Winnipeg in the past, including Evan Grills (2020), Brandon Marklund (2023), Evan Rutckyj (2017), and Nick Trogrlic-Iverson (2024). Canada’s tournament begins November 13 against host nation, Panama. WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes, in conjunction with Nostalgia Broadcasting Cooperative, announced Monday that they have extended their radio partnership through the 2026 American Association season. CJNU 93.7 FM will broadcast all Goldeyes pre-season, regular season, and potential post-season games with Trevor Curl handling the play-by-play duties. The upcoming campaign marks the 11th year of the partnership. Each Goldeyes radio broadcast commences with a 30-minute pre-game show and concludes with a 30-minute post-game show. Additionally, the “Inside Pitch” off-season radio show returns in 2026. The American Association again plays a continuous 100-game slate and retains the East/West divisional format introduced in 2022. 2026 Winnipeg Goldeyes Schedule Winnipeg opens the season Friday, May 15 on the road to face the Milwaukee Milkmen. The Goldeyes’ home opener is Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. vs. the Kane County Cougars, featuring a Goldeyes jersey giveaway and fireworks. The home opener marks the first of seven spectacular fireworks displays during the 2026 home schedule. Blue Cross Park hosts 50 home games, including nine weekends. Standard home start times are 6:30 p.m. (Mon–Thu), 7:00 p.m. (Fri), 6:00 p.m. (Sat), and 1:00 p.m. (Sun). Jung-Goldberg was acquired from the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League in exchange for cash considerations. The 25-year-old hit .361 for the Hawks last season, with 26 home runs and was tied for the league lead in RBIs with 130. A native of Redwood City, California, Jung-Goldberg played four years at the University of San Diego before playing one season at Hope International University. During his collegiate career, he hit .306 with 11 home runs and 72 RBI in 137 games. He also spent two summers playing in Collegiate Summer leagues, with a season each in the Prospect League (2019) and Northwoods League (2021) where he hit .345 in 104 games. Jung-Goldberg began his professional career with the Hawks in 2024, playing 64 games and hitting .247 with two home runs. He will be suiting up for the Karachi Monarchs of Baseball United this winter.

Marcelo was acquired from the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League in exchange for right-handed pitcher Zan Rose. The 25-year-old hit .351 for the Hawks last season, with 12 home runs and 75 RBI. The Redwood City, California native led the Pioneer League with 64 stolen bases, and was caught just eight times. After making his professional debut in 2022 for the Glacier Range Riders in the Pioneer League, Marcelo has hit .315 while compiling 18 home runs, 131 RBI, and 96 stolen bases. Prior to his debut, Marcelo played three seasons in Collegiate Summer leagues with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League, and the Niagara Power of the Perfect Game Collegiate League. Marcelo will be suiting up for the Arabia Wolves of Baseball United this winter. Zan Rose made his professional debut with the Winnipeg Goldeyes in 2025, appearing in 22 games, starting nine. The 25-year-old righty went 4-6 in 2025 and registered a 5.66 ERA over 68.1 innings pitched. A native of Tampa, Florida, Rose played a season at Winthrop University before playing for the Anchorage Bucs in the Alaska League in Collegiate Summer action.

WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes (41-58) closed out the 2025 season Monday afternoon at Blue Cross Park, dropping a 12-8 decision to the Sioux City Explorers (64-36). Boxscore The visitors wasted little time getting on the board. With Henry George on second base in the top of the first inning, D’Shawn Knowles drove an opposite-field home run over the left field wall to make it 2-0. Moments later, Zac Vooletich came around on an Abdiel Layer double to right, giving Sioux City a quick 3-0 lead. Winnipeg chipped away immediately in the home half. Keshawn Lynch legged out an infield single to bring home Ramón Bramasco and cut the deficit to 3-1. In the second inning, Bramasco himself came through with a line drive single up the middle that scored Kevin García , making it a one-run game. The comeback continued in the third when Roby Enríquez singled to centre, driving in Matthew Warkentin to pull the Goldeyes even at 3-3. The Explorers answered back in the fourth when Austin Davis hit a two-run homer to left, restoring a 5-3 advantage. One inning later, with two men aboard, Layer struck again with a three-run blast to left that widened the gap to 8-3. The Goldeyes weren’t done, though, and put together their biggest inning of the afternoon in the bottom of the fifth. With the bases full, Ray-Patrick Didder grounded into a fielder’s choice to bring in a run. García followed with a sacrifice fly to centre, and then Tanner O’Tremba ripped a double down the left field line to make it 8-6. Bramasco delivered his second RBI of the day with a sharp single, capping off a four-run inning that pulled Winnipeg within one at 8-7. Sioux City kept pressing, adding two runs in the sixth on a Vooletich RBI single and a wild pitch that brought home Josh Day. Winnipeg’s last push came in the seventh when Lynch collected his second RBI of the game with a sacrifice fly that scored O’Tremba, closing the gap to 10-8. The Explorers put the game away in the late innings, as Day singled home Knowles in the eighth, and Nathan Rose added one more insurance run in the ninth for the 12-8 final. From there, Sioux City took control. In the fourth inning, Michael Quiñones reached third and came home on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Kurtis Byrne to restore the Explorers’ lead.
