Communications Assistant (Full-Time Seasonal)
The Communications Assistant supports the Winnipeg Goldeyes’ communications, marketing, and content initiatives through the creation, capture, organization, and distribution of digital content. This role is responsible for helping maintain the club’s visual asset library, producing engaging content for social media, web, video board, and written publications, and assisting with media relations and player appearances. The Communications Assistant plays an important role in promoting the club, enhancing the fan experience, and supporting ticket sales, brand visibility, and community engagement throughout the season.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
The Communications Assistant is responsible for capturing, organizing, and producing photo, video, and written content that supports the club’s communications and marketing objectives. This position contributes to game-day and non-game-day content needs, including social media updates, promotional materials, pre-game and in-game features, and archival asset management. The role also supports media operations by coordinating interviews and assists with player and mascot appearances by providing on-site support and documenting activities for promotional and editorial use.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Curate and maintain a library of still photos and video captured at 2026 Goldeyes home games in accordance with club policies and American Association guidelines.
- Accumulate and organize digital assets for post-season Corporate Reviews.
- Update Goldeyes social media feeds as directed, including content tied to sales and marketing initiatives.
- Produce pre-game content such as game previews and related features for the video board, web stream, and social media channels.
- Develop off-week social media content designed to promote and sell tickets for upcoming homestands.
- Generate content for written publications, Goldeyes.com, and E-News communications.
- Create content for in-game use, including promotional features, hype videos, and crowd engagement videos.
- Upload podcasts to Goldeyes.com, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
- Assist in the preparation for and execution of production days.
- Assemble player profile content, including coordinating or participating in off-site video and photo shoots.
- Provide content to promote the Team Store across social media, Goldeyes.com, and the video board, including specials and off-site photo shoots.
- Capture and curate video and still photo assets during games, including crowd shots, promotional activities, atmosphere, and spectator engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, digital media, broadcasting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience creating content for social media, websites, video, and written communications.
- Strong photography and videography skills, including experience capturing live events.
- Familiarity with digital asset management and content organization best practices.
- Experience with video editing, graphic design, and content production tools is an asset.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during the baseball season and at club events.
- Must be able to attend home games, production days, public appearances, and other team-related events as assigned.
- Work is performed in a combination of office, stadium, field-level, and community event environments.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during games and events.

Kitchen Supervisor (18+)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and assist other kitchen staff within concession.
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
- Prepare food and beverage products for customers by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure quality of products and accurate preparation of all food items.
- Ensure proper food handling from staff.
- Become educated with all menu items and able to assist guests/staff with questions pertaining to food allergies and sensitivities.
- Adhere to safety standards for staff and guests.
- Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures.
- Ensure a quality appearance of the concession stand at all times; ensure that all workstations and the back of concession and storerooms remain clean.

- Become educated with all menu items and able to assist guests with questions pertaining to food allergies and sensitivities.
- Keep Skysuite Concessions clean and organized, sweep/mop as necessary.
- Assist in running food from Skysuite Kitchen to the suites.
- Assist in keeping Skysuite Kitchen clean and organized, wash dishes as necessary.

Mascot Performer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
As the faces of the Goldeyes organization, Goldie and Goldette play a crucial role in enhancing the fan experience, promoting team spirit, and engaging with audiences of all ages. The ideal candidates will possess a vibrant personality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for entertaining crowds.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute entertaining dance routines and interact with fans during pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities to create an exciting atmosphere at Blue Cross Park.
- Engage with fans of all ages through interactions, photo opportunities, and other fan experiences to enhance their enjoyment of the game.
- Assist in promoting team events, merchandise, and sponsor activations through on-field appearances, social media, and community outreach.
- Help maintain the integrity and appearance of the mascot costumes through proper care so as to ensure it remains in top condition for all appearances.
- Collaborate with the game day production team to coordinate performances and enhance overall fan engagement.
- Participate in community events, charity functions, and school visits, etc. to represent the Goldeyes and foster positive connections with fans and supporters.
- Be adaptable to various weather conditions, game schedules, and fan demographics while maintaining high levels of energy and enthusiasm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong ability to perform in costume, entertain crowds, and engage with diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with fans of all ages.
- Dependability and punctuality, with a commitment to fulfilling scheduled appearances and responsibilities.

Production & On-Field Promotions Team Member
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
With a primary focus on assisting with in-game promotions at Blue Cross Park, the Production & On-Field Promotions Team Member, a part-time seasonal position, will have direct interaction with fans and provide on-site marketing and promotional support to the Goldeyes’ Game Presentation department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Find participants for and assist in execution of on-field games and promotions.
- Prepare for and assist with pre and post-game activities.
- Help our fans have a memorable and positive experience.
- Contribute to the success and positive community standing of the organization.
- Assist in directing and guiding Goldie and Goldette throughout the game.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
