Boxscore The Goldeyes broke a scoreless tie by erupting for six runs in the third inning. Catcher Rob Emery belted his first home run since rejoining the team over the left field wall to give Winnipeg a 1-0 lead. Then with two out, third baseman Ramón Bramasco singled to centre field, driving in Tripp Clark and Ray-Patrick Didder to make it 3-0. The next batter, right fielder Max Murphy , smacked a three-run home run – his team-leading 15th – to left-centre to increase the lead to 6-0. Cleburne would reduce the deficit by two in the top of the sixth when third baseman Chris Kwitzer brought home Dustin Peterson and Kyle Martin with a single to left field.
