Power Hitter Jung-Goldberg Picked up in Trade

WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced Friday the acquisition of outfielder Max Jung-Goldberg.
Jung-Goldberg was acquired from the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League in exchange for cash considerations.
The 25-year-old hit .361 for the Hawks last season, with 26 home runs and was tied for the league lead in RBIs with 130.
A native of Redwood City, California, Jung-Goldberg played four years at the University of San Diego before playing one season at Hope International University. During his collegiate career, he hit .306 with 11 home runs and 72 RBI in 137 games.
He also spent two summers playing in Collegiate Summer leagues, with a season each in the Prospect League (2019) and Northwoods League (2021) where he hit .345 in 104 games.
Jung-Goldberg began his professional career with the Hawks in 2024, playing 64 games and hitting .247 with two home runs.
He will be suiting up for the Karachi Monarchs of Baseball United this winter.
