Shanice Raymond - Administrative Assistant & Birthday Room Coordinator

Shanice Raymond is the Administrative Assistant & Birthday Party Coordinator for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. A Winnipeg native, Shanice previously spent three years as a Fan Service Representative and is now in her first year working in reception. She is a switch-hitter and throws right-handed.

Shanice’s favourite part of her job is working in the Birthday Room. Having only recently moved into her current role when she completed the questionnaire, she joked that one thing fans might not realize about her job is just how cold it is where she sits. On game days, Shanice says one of the things she does is “slightly panic.”

Her go-to ballpark snack is fries from Goldie’s Grill, and if she had a walk-up song, it would be “Shine a Little Love” by Electric Light Orchestra. Shanice’s favourite theme nights are any that include fireworks, while the Milwaukee Milkmen are her favourite Goldeyes opponent.

Away from the ballpark, Shanice enjoys baking and walking her dog. She also used to help choreograph the dances performed by the Goldeyes Fan Service Representatives.

For Shanice, the best part of Goldeyes baseball is the fans.
