The game began Monday, August 24 and was suspended after eight innings with the score tied 4-4. It resumed Tuesday prior to the regularly scheduled game between the clubs. Bramasco doubled to left field and designated hitter Ray-Patrick Didder walked before centre fielder Noah Marcelo lifted a sacrifice fly to right field that brought Bramasco home. It was Marcelo's 84th run batted in of the season. The Goldeyes added two runs in the second. Catcher Raphaël Pelletier singled and right fielder Max Murphy doubled before shortstop Peyton Holt hit a sacrifice fly to centre that scored Pelletier.
