Boxscore Winnipeg took a 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Right fielder Max Murphy reached on a fielding error, first baseman Kevin García singled to centre, and shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder crushed a three-run home run to left field. It was his team-leading 12th of the season and gave him 38 runs batted in, second only to centre fielder Noah Marcelo ’s 45. An inning later, the Goldeyes extended their lead by a run when second baseman Keshawn Lynch tripled and later scored on catcher Raphaël Pelletier ’s groundout to second. They held that advantage until the bottom of the seventh, when Lake Country (31-23) erupted for four runs to tie the ballgame. Third baseman Clayton Slack got the DockHounds on the board with a two-out single to centre that drove in centre fielder Jake Snider. Catcher Dylan LaRue then scored on shortstop Ripken Reyes’ double to right field to cut the deficit to 4-2. Finally, right fielder Joshua Mears lined a base hit to centre that brought Slack and Reyes home to even the score at 4-4. Lake Country erased the deficit and took the lead in the bottom of the third. First, left fielder Anthony García drew a bases-loaded walk that forced shortstop Ripken Reyes home. Catcher Mario Feliciano then gave the DockHounds a 3-2 advantage with a two-run double to right field that scored second baseman Ray Zuberer III and right fielder Joshua Mears. Winnipeg briefly evened the score at 3-3 in the top of the fifth inning when second baseman Adam Hall lined a base hit to right that drove in Didder. Boxscore Winnipeg took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when designated hitter Keshawn Lynch doubled into the left-field corner, scoring third baseman Ramón Bramasco and second baseman Adam Hall . The Goldeyes added a run in the second on a solo home run to left-centre by shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder . It was his third in as many games and tenth of the season, tying him with centre fielder Noah Marcelo for the team lead. Gary SouthShore (22-30) got on the board in the top of the third inning when shortstop Elvis Peralta hit a two-out solo home run to left field, trimming Winnipeg’s lead to 3-1.
