2026 ROSTER
#10 - Ray-Patrick Didder - Infielder
Ray-Patrick Didder became just the second player from Aruba to suit up for the Winnipeg Goldeyes when he joined the club in 2025, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in professional baseball.
Didder signed with the Atlanta Braves organization ahead of the 2013 season and advanced as high as Double-A Mississippi. Along the way, he shared clubhouses with some of the game’s biggest names. He played alongside fellow Netherlands standout Ozzie Albies, formed a close bond with Ronald Acuña Jr., and crossed paths with future Major League stars including Max Fried and Austin Riley.
Over the course of his career, Didder has also become an important figure in Aruban baseball. Young players on the island have grown up following his accomplishments, including former Winnipeg player Dayson Croes, who has described Didder as a legend and someone he looked up to as a child.
In Winnipeg, Didder has the opportunity to play alongside another celebrated Aruban player in Jiandido Tromp. Together, they represent a proud baseball tradition from the Caribbean island just off the coast of Venezuela and continue to inspire the next generation of players back home.
