The 2025 Pepsi Goldeyes Player of the Year, Ramón Bramasco returns for his third season with Winnipeg in 2026 after steadily establishing himself as one of the American Association’s most reliable and versatile infielders.

Ramón played collegiately at the University of Washington before beginning his professional career in the MLB Draft League in 2021. The following year, he joined Tigres de Quintana Roo of the Mexican League, appearing in 78 games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons before making his way to Winnipeg in 2024.

From the moment he joined the Goldeyes, Ramón quickly became a fan favourite and earned a reputation as one of the club’s most dependable defenders. Comfortable at multiple positions around the infield, he combined strong instincts with steady play and gave Winnipeg the flexibility to move him wherever he was needed.

His offensive game took another step forward in 2025. Ramón established career highs in home runs with seven, hits with 108, doubles with 15, RBIs with 51, stolen bases with 20, and walks with 63. He also became a fixture near the top of the lineup, posting a .391 on-base percentage across 441 plate appearances.

That combination of defensive versatility, plate discipline, and improved power further established Ramón as an important part of Winnipeg’s core entering 2026.
