A fan favourite both on and off the field, Keshawn Lynch returns for his third season with the Winnipeg Goldeyes in 2026. Originally brought in during the 2024 season as a versatile depth option capable of playing multiple positions, Keshawn quickly proved he could offer much more and earned a permanent place on the roster.

His impact has extended well beyond his play on the field. Keshawn has become one of the most popular players in the clubhouse and among Winnipeg fans, known for regularly staying along the third-base line after games to sign autographs for young supporters. He is also frequently one of the last players to leave the clubhouse, reflecting the energy and personality that have made him such a valued teammate.

Keshawn enjoyed the best offensive season of his professional career in 2025, establishing career highs across several categories. His 79 games played were the most of any season in his career, and he made the most of the increased opportunity. While he collected 18 extra-base hits, his ability to reach base remained one of his greatest strengths, drawing 42 walks and finishing with a .371 on-base percentage and .721 OPS.

Growing up in Central Florida, Keshawn was surrounded by a strong baseball culture and some of the state’s most accomplished baseball families. Among them was the Gordon family. Tom “Flash” Gordon pitched 21 seasons in the Major Leagues and developed into one of the game’s prominent bullpen arms, while his sons Dee and Nick also reached the Majors.

Keshawn knew Nick Gordon while growing up in Florida, providing another connection to a baseball environment filled with players who eventually reached the game’s highest level. That background, combined with his versatility and outgoing personality, has helped shape a player who has become an important part of the Goldeyes both on the field and in the clubhouse.
