FRONT OFFICE STAFF
Tess Elder - Group Sales Representative
Tess Elder works in Group Sales for the Winnipeg Goldeyes and is beginning her first full season with the organization after joining the team midway through last year. A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tess bats and throws right-handed.
Tess is driven by creating great experiences — for fans, clients, and teams — and says celebrating people is at the heart of what she does. Something fans may not realize is that group bookings take place year-round, meaning clients can secure their preferred dates even during the off-season. On game days, Tess can usually be found moving between the Ticket Office, Skysuites, and patios, making sure every group has the best possible experience.
When it comes to ballpark food, Tess refuses to pick just one favourite. With the variety of vendors on the concourse, she is happily taste-testing her way through the season. If she had a walk-up song, it would be “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by The Clash.
Away from the ballpark, Tess enjoys spending time with friends and family or trying to roll a NAT 20 in a campaign that, by her own admission, tends to get louder than it should. She loves people and celebrating their special moments, and says her Second and Third Breakfasts have even been known to win over the grumpiest Dwarves or Orcs.
Tess does not single out a favourite Goldeyes opponent or theme night, believing every theme night brings its own unique vibe. For her, the best part of Goldeyes baseball is the fans, their energy and love of the game — especially when combined with a perfect Winnipeg summer night and fireworks. In Tess’s words, “it’s magic.”
