Tajinder Singh - Accounting
Tajinder Singh is the Accountant for the Winnipeg Goldeyes and has been with the organization for eight years. A native of Amritsar, India, Tajinder bats and throws right-handed.
Tajinder’s favourite part of his job is counting money. Something fans might not realize is that there is an entire game happening behind the game, with much of his time spent making sure invoices are paid, payments are processed, and the numbers add up. On game days, Tajinder keeps an eye on the numbers while everyone else keeps an eye on the scoreboard.
His go-to ballpark snack is chicken fingers, and if he had a walk-up song, it would be “Mundian To Bach Ke” by Panjabi MC. Tajinder’s favourite Goldeyes theme night is Movie Night, while the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are his favourite opponent.
Away from the ballpark, Tajinder enjoys spending time with family and friends, eating good food, and exploring new places. A fun fact about him is that, despite working in baseball, he rarely gets to touch a baseball — his biggest daily battle is usually with spreadsheets.
For Tajinder, the best part of Goldeyes baseball is the fans, the atmosphere, and being part of a team that brings Winnipeg together — even if his job is mostly making sure the numbers behave.
