Boxscore Winnipeg took a 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Right fielder Max Murphy reached on a fielding error, first baseman Kevin García singled to centre, and shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder crushed a three-run home run to left field. It was his team-leading 12th of the season and gave him 38 runs batted in, second only to centre fielder Noah Marcelo ’s 45. An inning later, the Goldeyes extended their lead by a run when second baseman Keshawn Lynch tripled and later scored on catcher Raphaël Pelletier ’s groundout to second. They held that advantage until the bottom of the seventh, when Lake Country (31-23) erupted for four runs to tie the ballgame. Third baseman Clayton Slack got the DockHounds on the board with a two-out single to centre that drove in centre fielder Jake Snider. Catcher Dylan LaRue then scored on shortstop Ripken Reyes’ double to right field to cut the deficit to 4-2. Finally, right fielder Joshua Mears lined a base hit to centre that brought Slack and Reyes home to even the score at 4-4. Three batters later, designated hitter Peter Zimmermann hit a two-out, solo shot to right to make the score 2-0. The home half of the sixth inning was eerily similar to the fourth. Catcher Mario Feliciano led off with a home run to right field to stretch the DockHounds’ lead to 3-0 before centre fielder Jake Snider tagged a solo blast to right with two out to give Lake Country a four-run lead. In the bottom of the seventh, left fielder Anthony García smacked a two-out, two-run homer to right field to make the score 6-0 for DockHounds, who lead the American Association with 90 four-baggers on the season. Winnipeg (25-27), meanwhile, saw their modest four-game winning streak snapped. The Goldeyes managed just three singles but took advantage of eight bases on balls to load the bases on two occasions. The Goldeyes added a run in the second on a solo home run to left-centre by shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder . It was his third in as many games and tenth of the season, tying him with centre fielder Noah Marcelo for the team lead. Gary SouthShore (22-30) got on the board in the top of the third inning when shortstop Elvis Peralta hit a two-out solo home run to left field, trimming Winnipeg’s lead to 3-1. Centre fielder Noah Marcelo then came in on a fielder’s choice off the bat of second baseman Keshawn Lynch , giving the Goldeyes a 2-1 lead. Boxscore Winnipeg opened the scoring in the top of the third inning, with third baseman Ramón Bramasco punching a base hit through the left side of the infield to bring first baseman Roby Enríquez home with the game’s first run. Two batters later, second baseman Adam Hall was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, forcing shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder to the plate. Designated hitter Jiandido Tromp hit a ground ball just beyond second base to score Bramasco and centre fielder Noah Marcelo , making it 4-0, before Hall crossed the plate on right fielder Max Murphy’s groundout to third base. The Goldeyes added two more runs an inning later. With two out, Marcelo lined a base hit to centre to drive in Bramasco.
