Add Dan Leatherman to the growing list of players headed from Winnipeg back to Major League organizations.
Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that the Washington Nationals had acquired the pitcher’s contract, making him the 51st player picked up from the Goldeyes by a Major League club.
Leatherman, 22, was signed on April 1 following two years in the Twins system. Signed by Minnesota out of an open tryout at the Metrodome following his junior year at NCAA Div.
