A to Z Guide to Canwest Park

A - B C - E F - G H - P Q - Z

Cameras and Video Equipment
Fans are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into Canwest Park provided that they are intended for personal use only. Taping of any game footage is strictly prohibited (please contact the Goldeyes director of communications to request a media pass). Fans are not permitted to stand in the aisles or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs. Monopods and tripods are not permitted.

Catch and Release Program
A special program for season ticket holders. Let us know that you won’t be using your tickets by noon on game day and we will try to re-sell your tickets. If we re-sell your tickets, we credit
half of the ticket value back into your account and donate the other half to the Winnipeg
Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation. For more information or to make use of the program, contact the Goldeyes Ticket Office at 982-2273 or send an e-mail to catchandrelease@goldeyes.com.

Cell Phones and Pagers
The use of cellular phones and pagers is permitted at Canwest Park, provided such
use does not interfere with other fans enjoyment of the game.

Changing Tables
Infant changing tables are provided in most washrooms at Canwest Park.
Designated family washrooms are also available on the concourse behind Sections
B, I, K, M, N and T.

Code of Conduct
The Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club is committed to providing its fans with an enjoyable,
safe atmosphere. Our staff will proactively intervene in order to support a family-oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviours:

  • foul or abusive language or gestures
  • intoxication or other signs of impairment
  • inappropriate attire
  • displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting
  • disruption of the game or an unauthorized individual on the playing field
  • smoking or tobacco use inside the ballpark facility

If someone interferes with your enjoyment of a game, please contact a Fan Services Rep
for assistance. Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans.

Community Zone
The Community Zone provides complimentary tickets to charities and not-for-profit organizations. To receive tickets, send a request in writing to the Goldeyes office.

Concessions
Concession stands and kiosks offering a wide variety of meals, snacks and beverages
are located along the main concourse area and on the Skysuites level.

Donations and Charitable Contributions
All donation requests should be made in writing on company letterhead and dropped
off, mailed or faxed to the Winnipeg Goldeyes at least three weeks prior to the date of
the event. The nature of the request should be accompanied by sponsoring organization
and purpose. We apologize in advance that all donation requests cannot be
accommodated. We DO NOT donate to wedding socials, Christmas parties or other
general fundraisers. Generally, the Goldeyes donate only to registered children’s
charities, baseball teams, community clubs, hospitals, day cares and schools.
