ABM (or ATM)
Automated Banking Machines are located on the concourse behind Sections J and N.

Alcohol Policy
Manitoba provincial liquor laws prohibit fans from bringing alcoholic beverages into Canwest Park. Only alcohol purchased and dispensed by authorized servers will be permitted on the premises. Fans appearing to be under the age of 18 will be required to show appropriate, valid identification. Fans possessing alcohol that do not have proof of being 18 or older may be ejected. Fans passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and may be fined. No guest will be served more than two (2) alcoholic beverages at one time. No alcohol will be sold to intoxicated fans. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any fan. Sales of alcohol on the concourse level end at the beginning of the 8th inning. Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans.

Animals
Certified seeing-eye dogs and/or assistance dogs are allowed into Canwest Park. No other animals are permitted within the ballpark.

Autograph Alley
At the conclusion of most home games, fans can collect autographs from their favourite Goldeyes players and Goldie. Simply line up in the aisle between Sections F and G.

Baby and Toddler Tickets
Children two years old and younger do not need a ticket to enter Canwest Park. However, a ticket must be purchased if this child will be occupying a seat.

Bags
Backpacks, diaper bags and other bags are permitted at Canwest Park, provided they can fit under your seat. Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans.

Banners and Signs
Banners containing advertising are strictly prohibited within the ballpark without prior consent from Goldeyes management. Fans may display a sign only if it is in good taste and does not pose an inconvenience to other fans. Nothing may be hung over the field side walls/railings where it could interfere with the game. Nothing may be hung from the Skysuite balconies.

Berm (or Grass Berm)
Tickets for the berm go on sale once all other seating in the ballpark is sold out. The area, located down the right field line beyond Section T, is a general admission area and tickets are $4.

Birthday Parties
Birthday Parties are available for all Goldeyes home games. Packages for 10 or more people include food and entertainment, and parties are held in our spacious indoor birthday room. Dates subject to availability. For more information, visit the Birthday Parties page.

Box Office (or Ticket Office)
The Ticket Office is located at street level on the west side of Canwest Park. Parking is available along the railroad tracks. The Canwest Park Ticket Office also serves as a Ticketmaster outlet where you can purchase tickets for concerts and other events.

Bus Routes
Winnipeg Transit routes that stop adjacent to Canwest Park are #10 St. Boniface-Wolseley, #38 Salter-The Forks, #43 Munroe, #49 Archibald, #50 Dugald and #56 Aulneau. More routes are available on Main Street or Portage Avenue. Plan your route now.

Cameras and Video Equipment
Fans are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into Canwest Park provided that they are intended for personal use only. Taping of any game footage is strictly prohibited (please contact the Goldeyes director of communications to request a media pass). Fans are not permitted to stand in the aisles or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs. Monopods and tripods are not permitted.

Catch and Release Program
A special program for season ticket holders. Let us know that you won’t be using your tickets by noon on game day and we will try to re-sell your tickets. If we re-sell your tickets, we credit half of the ticket value back into your account and donate the other half to the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation. Cell Phones and Pagers
The use of cellular phones and pagers is permitted at Canwest Park, provided such use does not interfere with other fans enjoyment of the game.

Changing Tables
Infant changing tables are provided in most washrooms at Canwest Park. Designated family washrooms are also available on the concourse behind Sections B, I, K, M, N and T.

Code of Conduct
The Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club is committed to providing its fans with an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. Our staff will proactively intervene in order to support a family-oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviours:

Community Zone
The Community Zone provides complimentary tickets to charities and not-for-profit organizations. Learn more here. To receive tickets, send a request in writing to the Goldeyes office.

Concessions
Concession stands and kiosks offering a wide variety of meals, snacks and beverages are located along the main concourse area and on the Skysuites level.

Donations and Charitable Contributions
All donation requests should be made in writing on company letterhead and dropped off, mailed or faxed to the Winnipeg Goldeyes at least three weeks prior to the date of the event. The nature of the request should be accompanied by sponsoring organization and purpose. We apologize in advance that all donation requests cannot be accommodated.
We DO NOT donate to wedding socials, Christmas parties or other general fundraisers.
Generally, the Goldeyes donate only to registered children’s charities, baseball teams, community clubs, hospitals, day cares and schools.

The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store
The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store has two locations at Canwest Park. The seasonal store is located on the concourse behind Section M and open during all home games. The main store is located at street level adjacent to the Ticket Office and open year-round.

Elevators
Elevators from the street level to the main concourse are located at Gates 1, 3 and 4. An elevator from street level to the Skysuites level is located at Gate 4.

Emergency Medical Services and First Aid
EMS staff is available at Canwest Park throughout every game to attend to any medical problems that may occur. If you are in need of emergency medical assistance, please alert the nearest Fan Services Rep or go to the Fan Services Booth on the concourse behind Section K.

Employment Opportunities
Part-time and game day positions are available at Canwest Park. Most shifts are during evenings and weekends. Watch for the job postings in both major newspapers in early April.

Entrances
Entrances are located at Gate 1 (Hu’s on First), Gates 2 and 3 (grand staircases by the Promenade and railroad tracks) and Gate 4 (security entrance).

Exchange and Refund Policy
Exchanges on tickets (Season, Mini-Pack, or Individual) must be done at least two days in advance of the game date. Exchanges will not be performed on the day of the game that you are unable to attend. There are absolutely NO refunds once a ticket has been purchased.

Exit and Re-Entry
Fans may exit Canwest Park at any time. Fans are advised to keep their tickets in the event they need to leave the ballpark and return.

Fan Club
More information on the official Winnipeg Goldeyes Fan Club is available at their kiosk on the concourse during home games or at their website.

Fan Interference
Interference with a ball in play and trespassing onto the playing field are strictly prohibited by Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club policy. Fans who violate this policy are subject to ejection and/or arrest and prosecution. Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans.

Fan Mail
Letters to Goldeyes players and personnel should be addressed to that individual and sent to the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club address.

Fan Services Booth
The Fan Services Booth is located on the concourse behind Section K. Services provided include questions-and-answers, public address announcements, silent auctions and contest registrations.

Fan Services Representatives
Eager to serve our fans needs, Fan Service Reps are available to answer questions and make sure fans have a great time at the ballpark.

Field
The Manitoba-grown sod is trucked in from nearby Portage la Prairie. It is comprised of 60% Kentucky Bluegrass, 30% Creeping Red Fescue and 10% Perennial Rye. The field’s dimensions are 325 feet down the lines, 375 feet in the power alleys and 400 feet at centre field.

50/50 Draw
Fans have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 draw at each Goldeyes home game. Tickets are available for $1 with the lucky winner taking home 50% of the funds raised with the remaining proceeds split between the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation and the visiting fundraising group. Fireworks
Fireworks displays are scheduled several times during the season. Stadium lights are turned off so fans can enjoy the fireworks display –please keep this in mind for the interest of your safety. For exact dates, pick up a Goldeyes pocket schedule or visit the Schedule page.

Fish Fins and Fish Bucks
In lieu of gift certificates, we offer $5 Fish Fins and $1 Fish Bucks. Fins and Bucks can be used towards anything at the ballpark – tickets, souvenirs, parking, concessions – and they carry no expiry date. Fish Fins and Fish Bucks can be purchased at the box office or The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store.

Fish Lines Series Magazine
Fish Lines Series Magazine features the line-ups for the current series and a scorecard. Fish Lines are available for purchase during the game at both locations of The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store and at various kiosks around the ballpark.

Foul Balls
Fans may keep foul balls hit into the stands. However, fans must not enter the playing field to retrieve balls or otherwise interfere with balls in play (see Fan Interference). When attempting to catch a foul ball please do not interfere with the game in progress and be respectful of other guests (see Code of Conduct). Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans. Stay alert at all times for foul balls, bats or broken bat fragments that could land in the seating area.

The main office for the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club is located inside Gate 4 (security entrance). The office can be reached at (204) 982-2273 or by e-mail.

Goldeyes Historical Display
Fans can learn more about the history of the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club and Canwest Park. The display is located in the street-level rotunda between the Box Office and The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store. Fans can visit the display during Box Office and Dugout store hours all year long.

Goldie
The Northern League’s best mascot can be seen throughout Canwest Park during all Winnipeg Goldeyes home games. Young fans wishing to get an autograph from Goldie can do so at Autograph Alley following most home games. Simply line up at the bottom of the aisle between Sections E and F.

Goldie’s Home Run Gang
For Goldeyes fans 15 and under. Membership in the junior fan club includes tickets, discounts, and plenty of Goldie’s Home Run Gang gear. Learn more here.

Group Events and Tickets

Hu’s on First Asian Bistro
Located on the third floor of Canwest Park and open year-round. The menu features delicious Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian dishes. The patio is also open during all Goldeyes home games. For reservations, call (204) 982-7426 or visit their website.

Lost and Found
During games, items/articles can be turned in or claimed at the Fan Services Booth. To inquire about lost items following game days, please call the Goldeyes office at (204) 982-2273.

Lost, Stolen or Forgotten Tickets
Please remember that game tickets are like money and should be secured at all times. If you forgot your tickets before coming to the ballpark, they can be replaced at the box office for a donation to the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation.

Lost Children or Companions
The Winnipeg Goldeyes suggest that a parent or guardian place the ticket in their child’s pocket in order to assist staff in locating their parties. Security, Fan Service Reps and management will help in locating a lost child or companion. All concerns should be directed to the Fan Services Booth on the concourse behind Section K.

Mini-Packs

Mother's Lounge
A mother’s lounge located behind Section T is available to nursing mothers and for the convenience of mothers with young children. For access, please notify the nearest Fan Services Rep for entry.

National Anthem Singers
National anthem auditions are held in April of each year. If you missed the auditions and are interested in singing during a home game, please send in a resume highlighting similar experiences along with an a capella version of the national anthems on an audio cassette (non-returnable). Drop-off or mail all materials to the Goldeyes office.

Net
The safety net around the home plate area stands 45 feet high and stretches from Sections I to O.

Official Game
A game is considered official following four-and-a-half innings of play, or five full innings if the Goldeyes are trailing at the time of the delay.

Overhang
The only seating at Canwest Park that is under the canopy are rows 19 and 20, in all sections except A, B and C.

Parking
There are numerous on-site and off-site parking lots around Canwest Park. Fans requiring wheelchair or accessible parking can park near Gate 4 on the west side of the ballpark; our parking attendants are present to help you. Parking for season pass holders is located in the brick-paved lots immediately west of the facility. Additional parking is available just south of the ballpark with access from Pioneer Avenue, Water Avenue and Waterfront Drive. Parking maps are available here or at the Box Office.

Path of Dreams
The “Path of Dreams” paved brick walkway leads to the main gates at Canwest Park. Personalized bricks can be purchased as a unique way to honour loved ones, celebrate a special event or promote organizations or businesses. Proceeds go toward the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation in support of children’s charities. Learn more here.

Playground
A playground is available to our young Goldeyes fans beyond Section A. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Pre-Game Picnic Park
The Pre-Game Picnic Park is located beyond the right field wall. Pre-game picnics can be arranged for groups of 25 to 600. Learn more here.

Programs
Winnipeg Goldeyes souvenir programs able for purchase during the game at both Dugout souvenir store locations and at various kiosks around the ballpark.

Prohibited Items
In the interest of fan safety and enjoyment at Canwest Park, Winnipeg Goldeyes management reserves the right to prevent certain items from being brought into the ballpark. Please note that these policies are designed for the safety of all our fans.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to the following:
  • alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, non-alcoholic beer
  • glass bottles or cans
  • ice chests or hard-sided coolers
  • sticks/clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
  • camera tripods or monpods
  • fireworks and confetti
  • bullhorns, cow bells or other noisemakers
  • animals, except certified services dogs
  • beach balls or other inflatable items
  • bicycles
  • skateboards or roller blades
  • squirt guns or super soakers
  • laser pointers
  • weapons of any kind
  • Promenade
    The street-level Promenade, located across from the Box Office and The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store, features an entertainment stage where local performers begin to entertain crowds 90 minutes before the game. The area is a great pre-game meeting spot.

    Promotional Items

    Public Address Messages
    For a donation to the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation, requests can be made at the Fan Services Booth. Requests must be received by the 3rd inning of the game. Announcements will be accommodated subject to time constraints.

    Radio
    All regular season games plus all exhibition games and playoff games are broadcast live on CFRW 1290 AM. Join the voice of the Goldeyes, Paul Edmonds, for all the play-by-play action. Also, listen for two specialty shows that can be heard every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon during the season.
    Goldeyes radio game broadcasts can also be heard through the internet here.

    Rain Delays
    The Goldeyes will attempt to play every game, even if it is raining at game time. Local media are advised about game status as soon as a decision is made.

    Rain Out Policy
    PLEASE NOTE: This policy is in effect for games postponed and not a regulation game (as defined under Official Game). For the 2009 season, the following games were rained out -- June 8, June 26, June 27.

    Individual Tickets, Group Tickets and Mini-Packs
    In the event of a rain out, ticket can be exchanged at the point of purchase for a ticket of equal value for any remaining regular season game during the same season (based on availability).

    Season Tickets
    In the event of a rain out, Season Tickets CAN be exchanged. In the event that a game is not rescheduled, Season Ticket Holders will receive a credit toward their Season Ticket renewal.

    Skysuite Tickets
    In the event of a rain out, Skysuite Ticket Holders must make alternate arrangements with the Skysuite Leasee.

    Refund and Exchange Policy
    Exchanges on tickets (Season, Mini Pack or Individual) must be performed at least two days prior to the original game date. There are NO exchanges on the day of the original ticket. There are absolutely NO refunds once a ticket has been purchased.

    Reserved Ticket Window
    Guests may pick up tickets at the dedicated Reserved Ticket Window adjacent to the box office entrance. A photo ID is required of anyone picking up tickets at the Reserved Ticket Window, and tickets will only be released to the individual named on the envelope. If your tickets were ordered through Ticketmaster, the credit card must also be presented. The Reserved Ticket Window will open one (1) hour prior to the start of the event.

    Season Tickets

    Schedules
    Pocket schedules are available at the box office, The Dugout - Goldeyes Souvenir Store and the Fan Services Booth. A month-by-month schedule is also available here.

    Scoreboard
    Located over the right-centre field fence, the scoreboard was manufactured by Daktronics Inc. of Brookings, SD. It stands 50 feet high and more than 65 feet wide and features a 38' W x 16' H LED video screen for instant replays, player profiles and between-inning commercials and promotions. The scoreboard also features back-lit and LED screen sponsor advertising as well as a line score to keep fans up-to-date on the statistical side of the game.

    Security
    For the safety of our fans, security personnel are on site during all games. If you have an emergency, please contact the nearest Fan Services Rep or security personnel.

    Skysuites
    Entertain special clients, employees and friends in a luxurious Skysuite and offer your guests a memorable evening at the ballpark. Our private, fully-serviced Skysuites seat up to 21 guests, and feature comfortable outdoor balconies. Also, ask about our Supersuite for entertaining up to 60 guests.

    Smoking Policy
    In accordance with City of Winnipeg bylaws, smoking is not permitted in any part of Canwest Park. This includes the outside seating areas of the Skysuites and the Pre-Game Picnic Park. Smoking is permitted on the balconies of the Skysuites level, the Promenade or outside Gate 1. For re-entry, fans must retain their tickets.

    Standing Room Tickets
    Standing Room Tickets go on sale once all other seating in the ballpark - including the grass berm - is sold out. Fans with Standing Room tickets can stand behind any section and must stand behind the white line at the top of each section. These tickets are $4.

    Starting Line-Ups and League Standings
    Starting line-ups, league standings and game promotions can be found every game on the information boards located at Gate 3. League standings are available anytime here.

    Strollers
    Strollers are permitted on the concourse area of Canwest Park. Only strollers that, once folded, will fit under a ballpark seat are permitted.

    Suggestion Box
    A suggestion box is available at the Fan Services Booth. We invite any feedback, positive or negative, in helping us constantly improve service to our fans.

    Telephones
    Payphones are located on the concourse behind Sections J and N. A payphone is also available on the Promenade just outside the box office. A courtesy phone for emergencies is also available at the Fan Services Booth.

    Television
    Select home games are telecast live on Shaw Cable 11 every season. Each game will be re-broadcast later that same night. Join Scott Taylor, Ken Wiebe and Jim Toth for all the exciting action. This season's television schedule is available here.

    Ticket Resale
    The resale of any Winnipeg Goldeyes tickets is strictly prohibited.

    Tours
    Tours of Canwest Park are available for groups with an advanced reservation (subject to the ballpark’s event schedule).

    Umbrella and Rain/Sun Protection Policy
    Rain and sun protection of all shapes and sizes are permitted in the ballpark, as long as they do not interfere with other fans view and/or enjoyment of the game.

    Washrooms
    Men’s washrooms are located on the concourse behind Sections C, L, N and T. Women’s washrooms are located behind Sections B, J, M and S. Wheelchair-accessible washroom facilities are available in all men’s and women’s washrooms, with additional unisex facilities with baby changing stations located behind Sections I and M.

    Wheelchair Seating
    Wheelchair seating is available at Canwest Park at the top of Sections G, M, Q, S and T.
